Homemade Creamy Peanut Butter
Creamy Peanut Butter
16 ounces peeled, unsalted, unskinned roasted peanuts (I shell roasted unsalted peanuts)
Peanut butter can be made utilizing the oils within the peanuts and so no additional oil is needed.
Place the peanuts into a food processor. Grind the mixture into a paste.
Shut off the food processor to occasionally scrape off any paste that sticks to the walls of the food processor.
Continue grinding until you reach the desired consistency.
Remove the peanut butter from the food processor and store in a plastic container. Store in refrigerator and is good for 2 months.
By making this homemade, I find myself not craving peanut butter as much as if I eat the store brand peanut butter. Win-Win
